Rural Estate Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Rural Estate Manager to join our team at Yorkshire Water. As a key member of our Land and Property department, you will be responsible for managing our rural estate, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing expert advice on property acquisitions and disposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the tenanted rural land and properties, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant estate management.
- Provide expert advice on property acquisitions and disposals, landlord/tenant issues, and general estate matters.
- Work with project teams to identify, plan, and deliver programs of works across the estate.
- Manage the day-to-day running of the rural estate, including answering estate enquiries and dealing with landlord and tenant matters.
- Support the Senior Estates Manager in delivering financial targets, providing regular reporting, and ensuring annual and 5-year business strategy targets are achieved.
Requirements:
- MRICS and CAAV qualifications.
- Demonstrable track record of managing rural estates to a high standard.
- Experience visiting and inspecting different types of land and property.
- Excellent understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
- People management experience.
- Extensive knowledge of national issues impacting rural estate management.
