**Internship Program Overview**

Our Intern program is designed to provide hands-on experience and skills development in your chosen field. Supported by structured training, the program is based on Arcadis' core values, offering a comprehensive learning experience that combines technical training and personal development.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Geo-Environmental Intern, you will be part of the multi-award-winning Site Evaluation and Restoration team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting site-based ground investigations to determine the nature and quality of ground conditions for purposes including geological/geotechnical assessment, soil contamination, and groundwater quality.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to inform design decisions or determine the need for environmental restoration.
  • Working as part of project teams to undertake site work, including soil and groundwater sampling, site supervision, and desk-based research.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Be working towards a degree in a relevant subject, such as Geology, Environmental Geoscience, Environmental Science, Geophysics, Chemistry, or Environmental Consultancy.
  • Demonstrate typical Arcadian skills, including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and being a Team Player.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • Be willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible, we embrace virtual working).
