Italicatessen Ltd, a leading company in importing and distributing top quality Italian food and wines, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to support the business growth.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the Company's strategic and operational sales plan, maintaining relationships and business with key foodservice customers, and creating a vision for each to follow and gain market share.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and increase market share.
- Maintain strong relationships with key foodservice customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to the sales team to ensure they are equipped to meet their targets.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales, Accounting, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless sales operations.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve short-term and long-term sales and marketing strategies.
- Provide regular updates to the senior management team on market trends, competitor strategies, and sales performance.
- 3 years' experience in a similar role within Food Service in a FMCG environment.
- Excellent knowledge of the Food/FMCG Sector, with particular focus on Premium Food Service.
- Strong business acumen and commercially aware.
- Proficient computer skills, with experience in using Microsoft NAV a distinct advantage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of success.
