Main Responsibilities- Project Delivery: Manage engineering, design, and turnkey projects to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Contract Administration: Conduct successful administration and management of all allocated contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor and control projects to ensure they are delivered to budget and programme, identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues.
- Reporting and Communication: Accurately and autonomously complete internal and client project reporting, providing regular updates and progress reports.
- Supplier and Sub-Contractor Management: Manage suppliers and sub-contractors for manufacturing, fabrication, and specialist services, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
- Procurement: Manage procurement of bought-out items, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Project Documentation: Produce accurate and correct project documentation in line with the contract requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Project Function Management: Manage all project functions including design, engineering, procurement, sub-contracted manufacture, build, testing and installation.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients, ensuring their expectations are understood and met.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities for further work through discussions with the client, ensuring the company's interests are represented.
- Scope Change Management: Manage change in scope and ensure appropriate compensation is received, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Resource Planning and Management: Produce resourced programmes and work plans to accomplish the project, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Project Forecasting and Planning: Provide accurate project forecast reports and plans in accordance with company processes and procedures.
- Team Management: Assess, direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
- Quality and Management: Responsible for overall quality and management of projects and programmes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Financial Management: Manage budget and ensure financial accountability on nominated projects and those of their reports.
- Support to Business Needs: Support Head of Projects and other business needs as required, ensuring the company's interests are represented.
- Line Management: Line management of other team members, including one-to-one and appraisals.
- Health and Safety: Be responsible for your own workplace safety, demonstrating commitment to health and safety; ensure all statutory obligations are met and the safety of staff, clients and visitors are in line with the UK and European standards.
