Job Description

**Project Manager / Retail / Payment Solutions**

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Endeavour Recruitment Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, ensuring they are resourced, monitored, and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-team activities between Business Analysts, Technical Designers, Developers, and QA Engineers, fostering better communication between all disciplines.
  • Manage cross-project dependencies and conflicts, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Coordinate estimates, project timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct site visits to client locations in the UK or globally, as necessary, to support liaison and stakeholder management.
  • Work with the Head of Projects to standardize project delivery processes across all teams.
  • Conduct project evaluations with clients to identify learnings that contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple planned and unplanned projects, large and small changes, absorbing complex technical and logistical issues, and rapidly defining and implementing resolution plans.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Project Manager role within a software development environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering major development projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with proven experience in communicating directly with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders at all levels within the business.
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic vision, and logical approach to problem-solving, coupled with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A flexible, task-oriented, positive, and pragmatic approach to managing projects.
  • Ability to refine approach and focus as business requirements dictate.
  • Operational experience in a development environment.
  • Experience of performing within an Agile framework.
  • Understanding of Retail and Loyalty & Payment Solutions.

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or with equivalent experience.
