Job Title: Maintenance Shift Manager

A leading food manufacturing company in Shropshire is seeking a skilled Maintenance Shift Manager to oversee the production facility in Market Drayton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company experiencing significant growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of 4 engineers to provide engineering support to the production area.
  • Ensure maximum plant and equipment efficiency to minimize downtime.
  • Deliver planned engineering tasks on time and in full.
  • Implement good repair and manufacturing practices.
  • Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets.
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G's or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC/HNC level.
  • Multi-skilled, mechanical and electrical skills/experience.
  • Apprenticeship trained.
  • Supervisor/team leader experience or good experience to show readiness for the next stage in career.
  • Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production.
