Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director to join our team at 350 New Hampshire. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting our organizational strategy, managing staff, and overseeing our financial and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of our organizational strategy, including strategic planning, assessment, and review.
  • Co-manage and support staff retreat planning, ensuring a positive and productive team environment.
  • Manage a team of full-time organizers, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Oversee human resources policies and needs, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Work with our national network to leverage grant funding and support our organizational goals.
  • Manage financial resources, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant program or organizational management experience, with experience managing staff.
  • Enthusiasm for fundraising, with a demonstrable track record of raising money for a nonprofit organization.
  • Strong writing skills, with grant writing experience preferred.
  • Being or having been engaged in anti-racism and anti-oppression training.
  • Willingness to learn new technology and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Access to a car and driver's license.
  • Experience working with communities most impacted by the climate crisis, with a particular focus on those most impacted by racial and economic injustice.
  • Experience working in coalition and building organizational partnerships across issues and differences.
