University of the Arts London (UAL) is a world-leading creative university for teaching and research in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management Specialist to join our Digital & Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management solutions to ensure secure and seamless access to resources for staff and students at UAL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement identity and access management solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and enforce identity-related policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Assess emerging technologies and determine their benefit to the University, and determine how that technology can be used to improve the overall student and staff experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in identity and access management, with a focus on designing and implementing solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with identity and access management tools and platforms, with demonstrable experience of Open text Identity Manager, Open Text Access Manager, Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • In-depth knowledge of identity management standards and protocols, such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including encryption, PKI, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary package of £54,018 - £72,510 per annum (inclusive of 6% market supplement) depending on experience.
  • 34 days annual leave plus public holidays.
