Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Household Manager/Butler to join our client's fully staffed formal household in Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable working in a rural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage household staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Liaise with other staff members, including Housekeepers, Chefs, and Estate workers, to maintain a harmonious and efficient household environment.
- Take care of the property's fine furniture, artwork, fabrics, and special finishes, ensuring their preservation and maintenance.
- Welcome and care for guests, providing exceptional hospitality and service.
- Set and lay tables for formal events and occasions.
- Provide food and drink service, ensuring impeccable presentation and quality.
- Provision the household with groceries and other essentials.
- Manage the household's wardrobe, ensuring impeccable style and organization.
- Liaise with the Family Office to facilitate a smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the residence.
- Drive errands as required, demonstrating confidence and competence behind the wheel.
- Accompany the family on ad-hoc travel occasions, providing exceptional support and service.
Requirements:
- 5 days per week, including weekends when required.
- Salary: £60,000 gross per annum (live-in) or negotiable salary for live-out.
- Separate accommodation provided (no pets or dependants).
