The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with SEND in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with SEND in a classroom setting, providing individualized attention and care.
  • Assist teachers in lesson planning and implementation, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the needs of each child.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and supportive learning environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in SEND education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the school and children.
