IT Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Educator to join our team at Barking & Dagenham College. As an IT Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the IT industry.

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, incorporating industry-aligned curriculum and assessment methods.
• Monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, incorporating relevant knowledge into your teaching practice.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, enhancing your teaching skills and subject expertise.

• Hold a teaching qualification and experience in delivering IT-related courses in a Further or Higher Education setting.
• OR have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and be willing to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification with our support.
• OR possess significant IT industry experience and a Level 3 qualification, with a willingness to pursue a teaching qualification.
