Graduate Secondary Special Educational Needs Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated graduate to join our team as a Secondary Special Educational Needs (SEN) Assistant. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the educational experiences of children and young people with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Secondary SEN Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students to overcome learning challenges and ensuring they receive a comprehensive and inclusive education. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support to students on a one-on-one basis and in small groups.
  • Assisting pupils with various additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other medical conditions.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills in supporting students with SEN.

Position Details:
This is a long-term opportunity within a reputable secondary school. The role offers:

  • Competitive daily pay ranging from £85 to £95.
  • Working hours aligned with the school schedule, Monday to Friday, during term time.
  • Comprehensive support from both the school and Aspire People.
  • Mandatory DBS check and safeguarding training provided.
