Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Activities Coordinator to join our team at Athena Care Homes. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of activities and programmes to enhance the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of a meaningful and engaging activities programme, based on person-centered care principles.
- Champion person-centered care with all team members to ensure residents are empowered to make lifestyle choices.
- Engage with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices.
- Experience of organizing and scheduling programmes of events or activities, ideally within a healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of our residents.
- Knowledge of dementia is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record for leading, empowering, supporting, and motivating a team.
