Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ER Advisor to join our HR team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As an ER Advisor, you will play a critical role in managing employee relations cases, providing expert advice and support to managers and employees, and contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations Case Management: Manage a wide range of employee relations cases from initiation to resolution, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, performance management, and flexible working.
  • High-Volume Case Handling: Handle high volumes of ER cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Complex Case Management: Manage complex ER cases, providing expert advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training on HR best practices to managers, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle ER matters effectively.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, providing guidance and support to managers on ER issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience managing high volumes of ER cases from end-to-end.
  • Complex Case Management: Demonstrated experience managing complex ER cases from end-to-end.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Qualifications: Ideally, you will be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
