Overview: A prominent organization in the Defence sector is looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Role Responsibilities: As a Control Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role within the Design Consultancy division. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging in the development and enhancement of control and instrumentation designs, equipment, and facilities, particularly focusing on life extension initiatives.
  • Conducting comprehensive analyses to thoroughly capture and understand project requirements.
  • Drafting detailed specifications that will serve as the foundation for project execution.
  • Producing essential documentation for the commissioning phase, ensuring smooth project integration.
  • Providing oversight by addressing technical inquiries and managing any deviations from the design to uphold project integrity.
  • Playing a vital role during the implementation phase by offering valuable technical guidance throughout the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning processes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with a variety of electrical instruments and their applications.
  • Awareness of relevant regulations, legislation, and standards in Electrical Engineering (BS7671).
  • Proficiency in creating electrical engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Compensation: The salary offered is competitive, reaching up to £60,000, along with 28 days of holiday, a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, and additional optional benefits.
