About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Coach to join our team at Acorn Training. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in helping individuals develop their careers and achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of customers to ensure they receive the support and guidance needed to secure sustainable employment.
  • Provide one-to-one information, advice, and guidance sessions to customers seeking employment.
  • Develop and deliver job search materials and products tailored to meet the needs of customers.
  • Work with local employers to identify key opportunities for customers and employers.
  • Support and signpost customers with pastoral needs.
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance on learning programmes and qualifications.
  • Coach customers to promote positive behaviors associated with employment.
  • Monitor own performance to ensure customer attendance and success measures meet national benchmarks.
  • Keep accurate records to monitor customer progress towards individual goals.
Requirements
  • Full NVQ Level 2 in customer service, business administration, accounting, or IT.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
  • Level 2 IT Qualification, such as ECDL.
  • Level 3 Information, Advice, and Guidance qualification (desirable).
  • First Aid at Work Certificate (desirable).
  • IOSH Health and Safety Qualification (desirable).
