Support Worker Opportunity

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Builth Wells. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensure the safety of service users.
  • Follow care plans for each individual.
  • Take service users out into the community.
  • Participate in arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements:
  • No experience is required.
  • Must be resilient.
  • Drivers are essential due to the location.
  • Candidates must be happy to provide personal care.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £26,477 - £26,926 (including sleeps) + plenty of overtime available.
  • Full-time permanent contract with a variety of shifts, including optional sleeps and weekends.
  • Opportunity to complete professional qualifications - fully funded.
