Senior Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in Builth Wells. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, promoting their independence, and enabling them to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Service Manager in managing the team and the service.
  • Plan and manage rotas, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and service policies.
  • Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
  • Follow care plans and provide personalized support.
  • Participate in activities and outings, promoting social inclusion and community engagement.
Requirements:
  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with a willingness to work towards Level 3.
  • Senior Support Worker experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license, essential for the role.
  • Ability to provide personal care and support.

  • A competitive salary of £25,293 - £28,413.
  • A full-time permanent contract, with 40 hours per week.
