Senior Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Senior Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in Builth Wells. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Service Manager in managing the team and service
  • Plan rotas and manage staff teams to ensure effective service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with service policies and procedures
  • Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of service users
  • Follow care plans and provide personal care as needed
  • Take service users on community outings and participate in activities such as arts, crafts, and day trips
Requirements:
  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3
  • Senior Support Worker experience
  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Driver's license essential due to the nature of the role
  • Ability to provide personal care and support individuals with complex needs
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of £25,293 - £28,413
  • Full-time permanent contract with 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday working hours with one weekend day shift every 4 weeks
