About the Role

Quest Search and Selection Ltd is partnering with a luxury multi-brand retail business that prides itself on working with some of the largest, global branded and own-label beauty, fashion, and home companies.

The role of the Corporate Communications Specialist - Retail is responsible for developing and implementing the company's corporate PR strategy within both external and internal communication policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Senior PR Manager to craft messaging for external communications and ensure the successful delivery of corporate business announcements.
  • Oversee and contribute to the creation and delivery of press releases and external statements.
  • Confidently handle incoming inquiries from business and retail media.
  • Partner with the communications agency to plan and execute key business milestones, including company results.
  • Assist in managing the Group's Communications Calendar.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to maintain a smooth flow of relevant information throughout the organization.
  • Develop long-term communication strategies in partnership with external corporate PR advisors.
  • Deal with and coordinate any crisis communication and management.
  • Develop and possess a well-established network of journalists and industry peers.
Requirements
  • Ideally having at least 3 years of experience in PR or communications roles at an officer, executive, or manager level.
  • You must have relevant agency or retail experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must have at least 2 years of experience in corporate communication, including financial results and business updates.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing demands.
  • A business-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of the UK sector (the business is listed on the stock exchange).
  • You must have a mixture of external and internal communications.
