About the Role

NatCen International is the global arm of the National Centre for Social Research, a leading independent social research organisation in the UK. As the Director of NatCen International, you will be responsible for providing intellectual leadership and guidance to a team of experts in international development and social policy.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in leading projects, managing complex teams, and developing strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the centre, working closely with the Board of Trustees, the CEO, and the Leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide intellectual, strategic, and operational leadership to NatCen International.
  • Build and manage an engaged and growing international team.
  • Engage and expand a senior advisory board of key stakeholders.
  • Develop influencing strategies and engage externally with stakeholders to promote NatCen International.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and quality assurance for research, training courses, and advisory support.
