We are seeking a talented IT professional to join our Infrastructure Services team as a Technical Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable running of the Council's technology solutions, systems, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration, and administration of virtual and physical servers
  • Experience with modern backup technologies, including on-premise and cloud systems
  • Ability to work as part of a technical team and communicate complex issues effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess IT experience with evidence of operating at practitioner level and supporting major/business critical IT systems. You will also have experience of working with internal colleagues, external partners, and suppliers to get the best out of existing technology investments.
