About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced IT professional to join our Infrastructure Services team as a Senior Technical Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of technical systems and infrastructure, including perimeter security and firewall technologies.

As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, administration, and support of key technical stacks within your remit. You will work closely with internal colleagues, external partners, and suppliers to ensure the efficient and reliable running of our technology solutions, systems, and infrastructure.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in IT, with experience in installation, configuration, and administration of firewall technologies and other security platforms. You should also have experience of working with network security solutions and be aware of vulnerability and threat management best practice and cyber security principles.

In addition, you should have experience of working with and administering Windows and Linux operating systems, both on-prem and in the cloud. You should also be able to communicate complex issues both verbally and in written format in a concise and easy-to-understand manner at all levels.
