About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellbeing Coach to join our team at Solent Mind. As a Wellbeing Coach, you will work with young people aged 11-25, providing individual assessments and sessions to help them improve their mental wellbeing and build resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1-1 sessions to young people aged 11-25, focusing on mental health and wellbeing
  • Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized plans
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of mental health in young people, including key challenges and difficulties
  • Experience working with people with mental health needs, with a strong focus on supporting vulnerable individuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with young people
  • Strong understanding of the recovery journey and the importance of resilience-building
