About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Advisor to join our team of Occupational Health professionals, providing a high-quality occupational health service and proactively managing health and wellbeing risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Occupational Health Technicians to maintain service quality
  • Manage employee health records in compliance with legal requirements
  • Contribute to data collection and reporting to monitor performance and achieve key objectives
  • Liaise with Occupational Health, Human Resources, and Line Managers to address emerging issues and trends

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register
  • Occupational health qualification, for example certificate, diploma, or degree
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good IT skills
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation relating to Occupational Health
  • Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR compliance

  • Supervision of junior colleagues
  • Safety critical or rail industry experience
  • Data analysis
