About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Nurse/Occupational Duty Practitioner to join our close-knit multidisciplinary team at Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital. As a Theatre Nurse/Occupational Duty Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatre department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the preparation and maintenance of the theatre environment to ensure a safe and efficient working space.
- Assist in the management of patient flow and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Supervise and support junior members of staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and theatre efficiency.
Requirements:
- Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
- Post-registration experience in theatre nursing or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
