As a Theatre Nurse/Occupational Duty Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatre department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of the theatre environment to ensure a safe and efficient working space.
  • Assist in the management of patient flow and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Supervise and support junior members of staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and theatre efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
  • Post-registration experience in theatre nursing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
