SThree Management Services is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Lead Java Backend Engineer to become a vital part of our Technology team on a permanent basis.

Role Overview: In this position, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of features within our digital experience platform, contributing to our competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in hands-on design, development, and testing of solutions while adhering to SThree's architectural standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and design effective solutions.
  • Work alongside other technology teams to deliver comprehensive end-to-end capabilities.
  • Integrate solutions with various systems within SThree's technology ecosystem, including CRM and ERP systems.
  • Provide user support and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Configure CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery.
  • Maintain infrastructure-as-code to build and manage environments and applications.
  • Focus on automation across all aspects of infrastructure, testing, deployment, operations, and security.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in developing web applications using a Java technology stack.
  • Expertise in RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development and test automation frameworks.
  • Experience in configuring CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code technologies, such as Terraform.
  • Experience working in Agile software development teams throughout the full software development lifecycle.
  • Prior experience with Liferay DXP is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Integration Services (API Management, Service Bus, Event Hub).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Identity Management solutions (Azure AD, Azure AD B2C).
  • Solid grasp of cloud computing architectures, including security, performance, and scalability, with hands-on experience in Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and user-friendly manner.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications: Typically, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Software Engineering.
