About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Community Paediatrician to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Community Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with a range of medical conditions, including developmental disorders, neurological conditions, and other complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and specialist care to children and young people with complex medical conditions
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including community nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person
  • Conduct assessments, investigations, and treatments as required
  • Provide education and support to families and carers
  • Participate in audit and quality improvement activities to ensure high-quality care
Requirements
  • MRCP, MRCPCH by examination or equivalent
  • Full GMC registration
  • On the GMC specialist register or within 6 months of CCT or CESR-CP in Paediatrics
  • Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams within community settings
  • Has achieved the competencies relating to General Paediatric Training
  • 5 years Higher Specialist Training, including 3 years in Community Paediatrics
