MAC Cosmetics Artist Opportunity

Job Summary:

As a MAC Cosmetics Artist, you will be the face of our brand, representing our image, products, and culture to customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service and sales, leveraging your artistic abilities and communication skills to meet and exceed customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service & Sales

Deliver personalized, professional service to all customers, ensuring a welcoming and interactive experience

Utilize effective communication skills to understand customer preferences and make product recommendations

Assist customers with product selection and information, providing makeup applications to achieve their desired look

Inform customers of available services, MAC consciousness programs, and philosophies

Meet individual sales and service goals, contributing to the team's overall success

2. Team Collaboration

Develop strong relationships with colleagues, providing great internal customer service

Manage time effectively, staying informed about products, company information, and store operations

Participate in store theme days, events, and new product launches, achieving Skills Certification requirements

3. Maintaining a Clean and Organized Work Environment

Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning displayer units, tools, and testers

Replace broken or damaged products, maintaining proper placement and condition of merchandise

4. Administrative Assistance

Assist with inventory counts, booking demos and lessons, and adhering to proper security procedures

5. Inventory Management

Assist with daily stock and hygiene supplies replenishment, maintaining appropriate levels throughout the day

Communicate low on stock and out of stocks to the Retail Manager

6. Adhering to Company Policies

Set an example in customer service, dress code, and professional standards, adhering to MAC's policies and expectations

Qualifications
  • A qualification in make-up artistry or previous retail makeup experience is preferred, but we welcome applicants with amateur level experience who can demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events, in a fast-paced work environment
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
  • Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview
