Position Overview

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will spearhead resident involvement initiatives throughout the department, offering support, leadership, and guidance to the team of Resident Participation Officers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure a cohesive strategy for resident engagement.
  • Assist in organizing the annual resident conference and broaden informal engagement opportunities for residents.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of various resident participation frameworks, including resident management organizations.
  • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to empowering residents, alongside a solid grasp of relevant legislation.
  • Exhibit excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, with confidence in public speaking and facilitating meetings.
  • Engage with residents in a multicultural setting, attending meetings outside of standard working hours as necessary.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Proficient in drafting detailed correspondence and reports on diverse topics.
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues and residents alike.
  • Ability to cultivate innovative and creative approaches to community engagement.
  • Willingness to participate in meetings and urgent situations beyond regular hours.
