Avionic Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Avionic Design Engineer to join our Bournemouth-based team at KDC Resource. As an Avionic Design Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design activities associated with avionic modifications, installations, and structural repair schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data and requirements capture
  • Creation and modification of 3D models from conceptual designs through to Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
  • Liaison with customer design teams and other departments
  • Full adherence to Quality processes to perform checks and validation of all work
  • Participation in Design Reviews, including tracking and closure of actions
  • Clash detection analysis and reporting
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or similar
  • Previous experience in an aerospace/defense/high-tech sector design role
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
