We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hall Porter to join our esteemed team at our Grade I listed clubhouse in the heart of London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience upon arrival, departure, and during their visit.
  • Assist with luggage, rooming, and member queries, while supporting the Front Office team in maintaining the security and integrity of the Club.
  • Manage the cloakroom and store members' luggage with utmost care and attention to detail.
  • Offer expert knowledge of the local area, transport options, and provide information on local events and attractions.
  • Order newspapers, wake-up calls, deliver messages, and sort and distribute mail with precision and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Reception, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage, to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to multitask, work flexibly, and adapt to changing circumstances with ease.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye for maintaining the highest standards of service.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and colleagues alike.
  • A good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude and composure in challenging situations.
