IT Engineer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join our team at Worthschool for a maternity cover until approximately September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing knowledgeable and courteous first-line support resolution, attending classrooms, function rooms, and offices to rectify issues, and providing support to staff in setting up and operating IT at functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Attend to IT-related issues in classrooms, function rooms, and offices, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
- Support staff in setting up and operating IT equipment at functions, including occasional out-of-hours support.
Requirements:
- A good level of English and Maths.
- Continued professional development in IT.
- Experience of completing personal IT projects.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an hour lunch break. Shifts to be organised by agreement to ensure the help desk is staffed and operational in line with the SLA between 9am and 5pm.
