Key Responsibilities- Lead and Guide a Team: Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of dairy products.
- Stock Control: Monitor and control the movement of stock, ensuring accurate checking of codes against tickets.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Chilled Warehouse, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Delivery and Loading: Supervise the safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Team Performance: Support and monitor team performance, encouraging staff to work to the best of their ability.
- Team Environment: Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
- Supervisory Support: Provide support for the Chilled Warehouse Supervisor, covering days off and holidays.
- Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or team leadership role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Health and Safety: Working knowledge of Health & Safety safe practices and the ability to implement the company's Health & Safety Policy.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and foster excellent working relationships.
- Customer Service: Desire to provide excellent customer service.
