About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Nomad Foods as an Assistant Product Development Manager, where you will play a key role in the development of some of the highest-selling frozen foods in Europe.

As a member of our Research and Development (RDQ) team, you will be responsible for technical project management of complex New Product Development (NPD) and Enhancement Product Development (EPD) projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent RDQ Implementation within cross-functional teams to deliver range extensions, renovations, innovations, and cost savings across UK and EU projects.
  • Provide technical knowledge to ensure all product executions are right first time, profitable, competitive, legal, and meet brand requirements.
  • Ensure product approval process is completed (including actions identified) and responsibility transferred to Supply Unit (SU) and Quality Assurance (QA).
  • Work with project teams and build strong relationships across multiple functions.
Requirements
  • Relevant Science Degree, such as Food Science, or 2+ years of proven experience working in FMCG product development roles.
  • Basic understanding of UK and EU regulations and legal labeling is a benefit.
  • English speaking, including technical language.
  • Full UK driving license, as some travel may be required.
