As a Public Health Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and working with children, young people, and families to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the Healthy Child Programme under the indirect supervision of a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN).
- Undertake routine home visits and monitor and evaluate care.
- Work with the child, family, and specialist services to assess needs and plan specific care.
- Support the 0-19 Team to meet the safeguarding needs of children and families, working according to safeguarding guidelines as defined by local and national policy.
- Promote the health of looked after children, including completion of review health assessments.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of therapeutic programmes to empower individuals to make informed choices.

Person Specification- Post-registration experience of working with children and/or adults.
