About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead for Education and Development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and development services to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of education and development strategies to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Work closely with the 0-19 Service Manager and team members to identify learning needs and develop training programs.
  • Collaborate with academic institutions to provide quality learning opportunities for staff and students.
  • Develop and implement research, audit, and service evaluation programs to inform education and development strategies.
  • Manage records and document all care plans, case reviews, and outcomes to reflect casework with children and families.

Person Specification
  • Registered with the NMC as a Community Specialist Public Health Nurse (School Nursing or Health Visiting).
  • Postgraduate qualification at master's level or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through a combination of in-depth experience, postgraduate or post-registration study, research, and/or courses.
  • Supervisor and Assessor qualification.
