About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated Newly Qualified Social Workers to join our Children and Young People's Service in various locations across Suffolk. As a Newly Qualified Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with children and young people to identify and address their needs, providing individualized support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Provide regular supervision and support to ensure the well-being and safety of children and young people.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £32,076 per annum (rising to £34,834 per annum) plus a joining payment of £1,500 and a retention payment of £4,000 upon successful completion of the ASYE programme.
  • A comprehensive induction programme, including mandatory Signs of Safety training.

  • Access to a relocation package of up to £8,000, a car leasing scheme, and a welcome loan of £2,000 for new Social Workers moving to Suffolk.

Requirements
  • A relevant social work qualification and Social Work England registration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and colleagues.
