About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Teams in Somerset. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with adult-focused practitioners to inform assessments and plans, while also supporting children and families experiencing complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with children and families to identify strengths and tackle problems
  • Develop and implement effective plans to support families in need
  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes
  • Provide regular and reflective supervision to ensure high-quality practice

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Experience working with children and families in social work, within a Local Authority team
  • Experience of work within family courts is essential
  • Passionate about relationship-based social work and committed to making a positive difference
