Job Title: Nursery Room Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Colchester Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of early years professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning programs that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, healthy, and stimulating for children, with a focus on outdoor learning and play.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or similar.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Safeguarding policies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with colleagues and parents.
