Lead a Team of Early Years Professionals

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Colchester Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Early Years professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning programs that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, happy, and stimulating for all children.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of our children.
Requirements:
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or similar.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Safeguarding policies.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
