Immigration Solicitor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Solicitor to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As an Immigration Solicitor, you will be responsible for preparing appeal bundles and visa applications for corporate and private clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit visa applications for corporate and private clients.
  • Provide expert advice on Immigration Law, Human Rights Law, British Nationality Law, and EU Appendix laws.
  • Manage client applications, including Points System, Sponsor license, Spouse/Partner Visa, Indefinite Leave to Remain, and Nationality and Citizenship applications.
  • Work independently, coordinating with clients and third parties, and communicating with the Home Office and Tribunal.
  • Handle visa applications inside and outside the UK, especially fiancée and spouse UK visas.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of PQE as an Immigration Solicitor.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and a growth mindset.
  • Commercial awareness in immigration law.
