Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to join our data team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a major role in helping us provide best-in-class, transformative solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing data warehouse and ODS features and improvements in Snowflake, as well as managing ELT from our AWS Data Lake.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create data models that facilitate near real-time analytics data
  • Design, develop, automate, monitor, and maintain ELT/ETL applications using preferred tools and techniques on Snowflake and AWS
  • Design, develop, and support internal tooling related to datalake deployment and management
  • Tune recurring SQL code on Snowflake for optimal performance and cost
  • Work with our analytics team to provide backend support for our data offerings
  • Enable data observability and resource governance in Snowflake

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with AWS technologies
  • Data warehouse experience, preferably in Snowflake
  • Experience with data delivery and datalake ideology
  • Experience leveraging AWS services in production solutions to support real-time data pipelines
  • Experience architecting real-time ETL/ELT data pipelines at scale using a variety of database management systems
  • Experience with high volume data lakes, relational data warehouses, and data lakehouse architecture
  • Lead technical direction on a team of data analytics developers, data engineers, and data scientists
  • Experience building Star Schema models
  • Cross-disciplinary experience with coding languages and data (example: combined SQL + Python + JS or functional programming with data and set awareness)
  • Experience with BI reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QLIK, or Sigma
