The Role: Strategic Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence across our network of sites within your designated region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of multiple depots, ensuring seamless delivery processes and adherence to strict safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency, productivity, and cost management across all sites within your region.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing innovative solutions to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and achieve shared objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify trends, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in managing large-scale logistics operations within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to logistics and transportation.
