We're actively seeking an enthusiastic and devoted Software QA Engineer to join our pioneering team located in Oxford. We believe in the power of relentless curiosity and the pursuit of excellence, and we invite you to be a part of our mission to improve our understanding of the details of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans and test automation tools to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure our products meet high-quality standards.
  • Automate test cases using industry-standard tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and procedures to enhance overall product quality and team productivity.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and trends to bring innovative solutions to our QA process.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA and testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing for desktop, browser, and cloud software.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks, both for E2E tests (Cypress or Playwright) and unit and integration tests (Jest, pytest, GoogleTest, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including in object-oriented and functional programming.
  • Hands-on knowledge of debuggers, performance optimization, and unit/integration/E2E testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in C++.
