Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Mount Charles Area Resource Base (ARB). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students with complex and multiple learning needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' relevant experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a good understanding of safeguarding children, and the ability to work on your own initiative and be self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher and teaching team in delivering high-quality education to students with complex and multiple learning needs.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized learning plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Provide emotional and behavioral support to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
