We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in a mainstream classroom setting.

About the Role:
  • Work with children with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, Mental or Physical disabilities, ADHD/ADD, Visual or Hearing disabilities, and severe and profound learning disabilities.
  • Support pupils in achieving their full potential through individualized learning plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning programs.
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group instruction to pupils with varying learning needs.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience working in a mainstream classroom or with children with special educational needs in an educational setting.
  • A strong passion for enhancing the development of pupils.
  • An approachable and positive attitude.
  • Ideal Team Teach training (not essential).
  • Confidence in working with small groups and one-to-one.
