About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Worker to join our team. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent drug and alcohol services to individuals struggling with addiction. Your primary focus will be on facilitating positive outcomes for service users and their loved ones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including group and individual sessions, to support service users in achieving recovery.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans, working closely with service users, their families, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver programmes, using best practices and evidence-based methods.
  • Manage a caseload, coordinating assessments, interventions, and aftercare planning to support service users in their recovery journey.
  • Provide harm reduction advice, guidance, and education, including naloxone programmes and overdose prevention.
  • Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure adherence to policies and safeguarding principles.
