We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Starlite HG, a well-established company operating three children's homes. Our homes provide care for young people who may have experienced social, emotional, and behavioral challenges due to trauma or neglect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance, support, and care to young people, attending to their practical, emotional, and physical needs.
  • Serve as a positive role model, helping young people overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee shifts, provide staff supervision, and act as Deputy Manager in their absence.
  • Contribute to the holistic and therapeutic care approach tailored to each young person's individual needs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children, young people, or young adults with complex needs in a residential care setting, including at least 1.5 years in a Senior Residential Support Worker role.
  • A Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • A valid driver's license and the flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
