Job Summary:

  • Lead and develop a team of chemists to drive strategy for small molecule drug discovery.
  • Collaborate with biology and other scientific leaders to ensure program success.
  • Provide project leadership, ensuring milestones are met across R&D.

Requirements:

  • PhD in synthetic, medicinal, or computational chemistry.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience setting up a chemistry department, developing, and executing strategy.
  • Previous leadership experience including building, recruiting, and onboarding a team of chemists.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Chemistry Team Lead and play a key role in driving our drug discovery projects forward. As a leader in our chemistry department, you will be responsible for guiding a team of chemists, developing strategies for small molecule projects, and collaborating across disciplines in a dynamic start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategy for small molecule drug discovery.
  • Lead and develop a team of chemists to drive project success.
